Domain licence sales

DOMAINSAFE provides domain licence holders a fully-featured platform for offering domain name licences for sale in accordance with auDA's Domain investing and monetisation policy.

If you have received a notification of a domain name licence that you'd like to purchase through DOMAINSAFE, you can be sure that the offer is from a valid licence holder of the domain name being offered.

DOMAINSAFE uses the highly reputable and secure Stripe payment platform to process payments. We do not store your credit card details, but you may choose for Stripe to do so to facilitate future payments.

Licence transfers will be processed within 24 hours of payment being received and normally take 2-3 days to complete, subject to meeting the appropriate eligibility criteria.

On successful completion of the licence transfer, you may transfer the domain to a new registrar. Otherwise, DOMAINSAFE will arrange for the redirection of all web and email traffic to the destination addresses of your choice.

If the domain name licence is purchased within 60 days of the initial registration, the domain name will be transferred as soon as it is possible to do so. In the meantime, all web and email traffic will be redirected to the destination addresses of your choice.
